need help with American ladies pants sizes (10pts)?

OK so i have 36 inch hips and im usually about a size 9-11 in women’s Australian sizes. Im going to buy these pants http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/apparel/Bottoms/Silver-And-Brass-Stud-Light-Blue-skinny-jeans-233764.jsp but when i looked at the sizing charts i became confused..It says im a size 3 yet i measured my waist (23 and a half inch) and bust (35 inch) in proportion to the size 3 measurings and theyre way off.

Since you said you wear a 9-11 in Australian sizes, I put in a size 10. It converted it to a size 6 in U.S sizes.

How much will my jeans shrink when I wash them in hot water?

I have this pair of skinny jeans that are kinda big, they aren’t tight or anything. so i was talking to my mom about washing them in hot water and she said that they would shrink, how much would they shrink? B/c the waist line is a little big but i dont want them to shrink alot and then not be able to wear them. does how much they shrink depend on how hot the water is?

They’ll shrink as much as a size.
Consider not drying them completely in the drier. Just get them hot enough to activate the fabric softener from the soap and then air dry the rest of the way.

Hi all. I am having trouble finding a pair of jeans that fit right. I am really short. My measurements are a 25 inch waist, 34 inch hip, and a 28 inch inseam. I am looking for a pair of jeans that are at waist or just below…no low rise. I also don’t want any that are distressed or have holes. Any suggestions?
